Organic European Wheatgrass Powder

Wheatgrass powder is produced from the leaves of the commonly known plant Triticum aestivum. Our wheatgrass is grown on fertile plains in Europe and is harvested whilst still young to capture the peak nutritional essence of the plant

Processing 

The grass is dried within 6 hours of being harvested. Once the raw material has been dehydrated, it is then milled into a fine powder. It takes 5kg of fresh leaves to produce 1kg of powder.

Allergens

Organic European Wheatgrass Powder, sourced from the EU, with no binders, fillers, colours or preservatives added. Sevenhills Wholefoods products do not contain any substances causing allergies (Directive 2007/68/EC) as ingredients or by the possibility of cross-contamination. The only exceptions is all cereal grasses (wheat & barley products) and kernel powder.

Wheat and barley grasses are free of allergens as ingredients. However, there is a remote possibility of cross-contamination by gluten if the farmer allows wheat and barley to begin developing seeds. Our farmers monitor the growth of the leaves to eliminate this risk, hence we consider our products Gluten Free. Also Dairy Free and registered by the Vegan Society.

Suggested Used 

Add 1-2 teaspoons (5g) to water, juice, a protein shake or a smoothie. Alternatively, mix with savoury sauces or salad dressings.
